Jonas Vanthornhout
Postdoctoral researcher
KU Leuven
Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher working in Prof. Tom Francart's lab at ExpORL, Department of Neurosciences, KU Leuven. In 2020, I obtained my PhD in Biomedical Sciences on objective measures of speech understanding.

Since then, I've been working on unlocking communication in patients with a disorder of consciousness, decoding how the brain behaves during a conversation, models of speech understanding (deep learning and linear), and the effects of visual information on speech understanding.
